What age can I attend driver’s ed?
You must be 15 years and 9 months on the first day of class.
Do I need to complete driver’s education within a certain time frame?
You need to complete the driver’s education program within a 2-year period from the date you started the first class/driving lesson.
I just bought the license package but where do I make the payment?
You can make payment for the license package on the first day of class or you can call in your credit/debit card payment over the phone. Please call 508-674-0588.
How do I cancel a driving lesson?
If you can not keep your driving lesson, please send a cancellation request to our email address. Keep in mind that cancellation request must be received 72 hours before your scheduled driving lesson to avoid cancellation/no show fee.
Is the driver’s education course mandatory?
Yes, driver’s education is required for everyone under the age of 18 who wishes to obtain a driver’s license in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
Can I take driving lessons at Flint Driving School even though I completed the classroom education at another school?
Of course! The Commonwealth of Massachusetts allows you to take classroom or behind the wheel instruction at two separate schools. There’s no up charge if you’re only doing driving lessons at our school.
How many driving lessons do I need?
The Commonwealth of Massachusetts requires 12 hours of driving lessons and 6 hours of observation for anyone under the age of 18 who wishes to obtain a driver’s license.
I’m over 18, what do I need to do to get my license?
If you’re over the age of 18, you’re not required to take classes or driving lessons. You may schedule a road test if you have your learner’s permit. However, you will not receive an insurance discount when registering your vehicle.

Do you rent cars for road test?
Yes, we can certainly provide a vehicle to use on your road test and the fee for car rental and road test sponsorship is $100. This service is only valid for the Fall River and New Bedford RMV.
What kind of payment do you accept?
We accept cash in the classroom but we only accept credit/debit for road lessons and road test services.
Is the parent class mandatory?
Yes, parent class is mandatory for parents of students under the age of 18.
Do I have to pay the entire balance up-front?
You may elect to pay for each component individually; pay for classes first and then pay for each individual driving lessons.
Where can I be picked up and dropped off for driving lessons?
Just let us know ahead of time and we can make arrangment to pickup/drop-off that’s convenient for you.
How do I make-up a class that I missed?
You have to make-up the class that you missed, so if you missed the 2nd day of class then you will have to come back on the 2nd day of class for the next session.
Do I have to take driver’s ed before I can take driving lessons?
Nope! You can start your driving lessons as soon as you have your permit.
